    About MeWhat I do

Hello and welcome

Welcome to my website. My name is Sue and I have been a counsellor in Exeter for six years, having completed an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling. I absolutely love working as a counsellor and feel truly privileged when people share their lives with me.

Having undergone therapy myself during training and since to ensure my own personal development continues, I know first-hand what a challenging but rewarding process counselling can be.

If you’d like to arrange an appointment, call me now on 07538 103 416 or email me at sue@srcounsellingexeter.co.uk. I’d love to hear from you.

About me

A bit more about me and how I can help….

Why counselling?

People can come to counselling for many different reasons.

Sometimes, something has happened recently, such as a death or a relationship breakdown, sometimes there are things from the past that have not been spoken about, such as sexual abuse, and other times it can feel as though there is no ‘cause’ or ‘reason’, but things don’t feel okay.

Whatever the reason(s), counselling can be a great way to help you through a difficult time and nobody should feel that their problems are too big or too small to bring. Problems are always relative, and everyone deserves to be listened to with empathy and without judgement so that a way through can be found.

There are many examples of things people bring to counselling either as an issue in and of themselves or things that trigger other issues…

Counselling can
help with
depression anxiety stress anger low self-esteem isolation sleep issues suicidal ideation addiction(s) PTSD OCD eating disorders hoarding disorder post-natal depression phobias insecurity dependency issues co-dependency issues bereavement
